The story of Healthy Curb goes back to Dr. Steven Rosenblatt, the former
Director of Complementary Medicine for Cedars Sinai Medical Center. As the
author of the internationally best-selling book “The Starch Blocker Diet”, Dr
Rosenblatt, MD, PhD, OMD, was among the first to see the damage carbohydrates
were causing in our bodies. However, he realized even more tools were needed.
People needed to be able to lose weight AND change their eating habits. With our
society steeped in refined sugars and processed foods, what product could be
made that could assist with the process of changing eating patterns toward a
healthier lifestyle?
Dr.
Rosenblatt proposed the idea that if we combined membrane repairing technology
(NT Factor®) with a starch blocking strategy (Phase 2®) we could truly change
people’s patterns. He believed the combination would promote better absorption
of nutrients into the cell (the answer to insulin resistance), would suppress
the chain of hunger hormones to curb the appetite, and would block unhealthy
starches from turning to sugar in the body. The result, he speculated, would be
one that would allow a healthier eating plan for anyone who began to take the
product. Nutritional Therapeutics, Inc., the makers of NT Factor, combined the
two technologies and created Healthy Curb.
Now it was time to put it to the test. One of the people to first use Healthy
Curb was Rob Fielding, the Worldwide Sales Coordinator for Nutritional
Therapeutics, the manufacturer of NT Factor. In May of 2007, Rob’s weight was
approximately 370 pounds. He reported for work on Monday morning after a weekend
of taking Healthy Curb, and stated that his appetite had been dramatically
reduced.
The following month, Dr. Rosenblatt’s clinic tested Healthy Curb on his
patients, and it was clear that Healthy Curb was the product of choice. Some
patients who were resistant to other weight management programs began
experiencing success. Rob lost his first 20 plus pounds, and based on a formal
survey conducted by Sierra Productions of Irvine, CA there was concrete evidence
that consumers were experiencing a decrease in appetite the first day, and the
appetite reduction became stronger as people continued to use Healthy Curb.
By the end of the 2007 (in just 7 months) Robert had lost more than 65 pounds.
That’s an average weight loss of 12 pounds per month. And Rob began to see a
change in his eating habits… less refined sugars and carbohydrates by choice. It
was just as Dr. Rosenblatt suspected!
By Spring of 2008, less than one year after starting Healthy Curb Rob has lost more than 100 pounds and is still losing. In the last month currently recorded, March, 2008, Robert lost an additional 7 pounds despite a weeklong trans-country trip.
Many of Dr.
Rosenblatt’s patients are losing between 3 and 5 pounds per week, every week.
It’s steady, long-term weight loss. It works! For more information on how it
